Privacy

Your privacy matters to me.

Tarot readings can involve personal situations, relationships, decisions and experiences. I treat the information you share with care and use it only for the purposes described below.

Information I collect

When you request a reading, you may provide:

• your name or preferred name;
• your email address;
• information about the situation you would like to explore;
• questions you would like to ask; and
• any additional information you choose to share in later correspondence.

I ask only for information that is relevant to communicating with you and preparing your reading.

How I use your information

When you provide information to Clio Readings, I use it to:

• respond to your request;
• understand the context of your questions;
• ask for clarification when necessary;
• prepare and deliver your Tarot reading;
• communicate with you about your reading; and
• maintain business records where reasonably necessary or legally required.

I do not sell or rent your personal information.

Your readings and stories

Your personal story and individual reading will not be published as a case example without your permission.

If you give permission for a reading or case to be discussed publicly, identifying details may be removed or changed to protect your privacy.

Website, forms and email

Clio Readings uses third-party service providers, including website hosting, website forms and email services, to operate the website and communicate with clients.

As a result, information you submit through the website or by email may be processed or stored by service providers used to operate Clio Readings and may be processed outside Canada.

These service providers may process personal information as necessary to provide their services.

How long I keep information

Personal information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide your reading, communicate with you, maintain appropriate business records, and meet applicable legal or tax requirements.

When information is no longer reasonably required, it may be deleted or securely disposed of.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may contact me if you would like to:

• ask what personal information I have about you;
• request a correction;
• withdraw your consent to future use of your information; or
• request deletion of information that I am not required to retain.

Depending on the request, withdrawing consent or requesting deletion before a reading is completed may mean that I am unable to continue providing the service.

Reading Terms

Adults only

Clio Readings provides readings to individuals aged 18 and over.

By submitting a reading request, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Tarot offers perspective, not certainty

Tarot readings are intended for personal reflection, perspective and exploration.

I do not interpret Tarot as a way of predicting a fixed or inevitable future.

A reading reflects the cards drawn, the questions asked and my interpretation of the situation at the time of the reading.

Circumstances change. Other people make choices. You make choices. Outcomes can change as well.

Tarot is not professional advice

A Tarot reading is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, financial or other qualified professional advice.

If your situation requires professional assistance, please seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

Your decisions remain your own

A reading may offer another perspective on a situation, highlight possibilities or raise questions worth considering.

It does not make decisions for you.

You remain responsible for the choices you make and any actions you take following a reading.

No guaranteed outcome

Clio Readings does not guarantee that a particular event will occur, that another person will behave in a particular way, or that a particular outcome will result from a reading.

How readings are delivered

Readings are prepared personally and delivered privately by email.

Your reading includes a photograph of the actual Tarot spread drawn for your situation together with my written interpretation.

Readings are usually delivered within 2–3 days, unless I let you know otherwise.

Payment

There is no fixed price for a reading.

You receive your complete reading first. After receiving it, you decide for yourself how much you would like to pay.

There is no required or suggested amount.

I simply ask that you consider the time, care and attention involved in personally drawing, photographing, interpreting and writing your reading.
